I’m living in Jonesboro, Arkansas and have been here for nearly 28 years working for the same company, EC Barton & Company. EC Barton is a building materials company with 122 stores in 12 states. I am their Marketing Director and the work I do is similar to running an in house ad agency. My wife, Gayle and I have been married for 34 years, have three children, 2 girls and a boy, and one grandson. My oldest , Melanee, is 31, divorced with one son, Rhett, 7. She is a PTA and lives in Jonesboro. My son Matt, 26, is single and a 4th year Dental Student at UT in Memphis.
My youngest, Maloree, 23, is single and a 2nd year Law Student at Ole Miss.
My life, like every one else’s life, has been spiced with triumphs and tragedies. My mother still lives in Oxford in the house next to OHS. My dad passed away in November of 2002.
